Emerging Designers from Omaha Fashion Week's Outre showcase will be featured, including works by up and coming designers working in sustainable fashion and zero-waste design

Students in the first-year course, Visualization Studio, selected hats from the TMFD Historic Costume Collection to create oversized recreations or replicas using recycled chipboard (cardboard). After initially sketching the hats, students measured their proportions to understand the construction process. They then recreated the hats, scaling them to four to five times their original size and matching the materials. This student exhibition will feature three giant hats displayed alongside the originals, highlighting skill development, material research, and problem-solving.

This Spring, we are excited to host our annual "Juried Exhibition," showcasing the art and design work of regional high school students.

Past winner from Omaha Fashion Week will showcase their design collection in the gallery and will include a pop-up shopping experience. Designer name will be shared later this year!

Graduate students from the Apparel Design and Material Culture master program will be featured in the gallery. Students name and description of work to come!

Digital Fashion Designers working in the latest technology including gaming engines and Clo3D will be featured. The exhibition will include physical garments and digital animations of garments with diagrams showcasing how digital design is used in the apparel industry and fashion industry alike!
