The fashion industry is one of the biggest industries in the world, but one that has many environmental and sustainability concerns. Fortunately, there are many ways the fashion industry and consumers can take steps to make sustainable change and better the planet. Within this gallery exhibition, a collection of five ensembles will be presented showcasing various methods of sustainable design, materials, and construction that can be used to inspire future sustainable designs and techniques. Come see a unique assortment of techniques including the use of natural fabric dye, a multi-functional garment, a zero-waste design, and more!

Please join us for an open house event on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 5:00-6:30pm in the Robert Hillestad Textiles Gallery to celebrate the opening of the new gallery exhibitions!
